Musical magic!

What an amazing evening we had listening to our very talented pupils perform.

They should be very proud of themselves.  We look forward to sharing their talents again over the coming years.

Thank you to everyone who supported them (and had to listen to the staff 'choir'!!).

Netball in the snow!!

Our year 5 and 6 netball teams have just finished their matches against Tillingbourne.

Year 5 won 5 - 4 and year 6 lost 7 - 5. Very close games, and great teamwork shown.

Thank you to all the staff who organised the match and the girls and their supporters who braved the interesting weather conditions!

Tag Rugby

Congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 teams who went to  Christ's College yesterday to compete in Tag Rugby.

Year 5 came 3rd and scored 20 tries.

Year 6 scored 9 and a particular mention to Ben C. for playing superbly!

Happy Birthday Your Majesty!

90 years old - what an achievement!  We will be having more celebrations later on this term, but as the Queen's birthday request was to have a Tidy Britain, we spent some time ensuring we had a Tidy Bushy today!

They're back!

Year 4s are back safe and sound, full of the trip, yet quite tired!

We look forward to hearing all about it over the next few days.

Last night!

Everyone slept well and are excitedly packing up the trailer. One activity left to do and then we are all looking forward to a night in our own beds.

Empties Please!

Goodnight!

A very busy day has meant everyone is tucked up in bed ready for a good night's sleep. We have had an extremely fun day full of challenges and new experiences! Looking forward to our final activity and another big breakfast in the morning-Team Year 4

Day 2 ... In the sunshine!!

A beautiful afternoon in the sun with climbing and woodland skills with many children reaching the top of the climbing wall. Bellies are filled with scrumptious dinners. Evening fun of games in the field to come before our last night. Tired but happy children.

Morning!

Woken to a beautiful morning -  seen rabbits, squirrels and heard lots of birds! Had a huge delicious breakfast and all ready for today's activities. High ropes and trapeze looks scary but great fun!

Day 1 report

What a fun afternoon and evening year 4 have had! We've completed one of our activities, had a great dinner and even a piece of cake to celebrate Jimi-Lee's birthday. Everyone is tucked up in bed ready for an exciting day of adventures tomorrow. Team Year 4.

Day 1 at High Ashurst

I left the children earlier in high excitement during their first activity.  We arrived at the foot of Box Hill and were transported up the hill to High Ashurst in their minibuses.  After lunch in the main hall, the children got into their groups, donned helmets and set off to complete challenge courses and High Ropes.

The site is in a beautiful setting and we saw plenty of wildlife hopping around!  They are going to have an amazing time!

Look out for further reports ....
