More success!!
Aneira has been busy again this weekend. On Sunday she took part in the K2 Biathlon in Crawley, West Sussex. She ran and swam against girls from all over South East England and London and managed to come 22nd overall.
And they're off!!
Our happy and excited staff off on their adventure in Budapest! We wish them a safe journey and a great time learning at the Hungarian school.
Author talk
Yesterday I took a group of Year 6s to Tormead where we heard author Laurel Remington talk about her latest book 'The Secret Cooking Club'.

Harvest hampers
Some pictures of our visit to the lunch club at the Methodist Church. The ladies and gentlemen were very pleasantly surprised at our visit and were so grateful for the boxes and a chance to chat with the children. We met a lady who is going to be 100 next week (she also told us she was the youngest of 15 siblings!). Thank you again for your generous donations.

John Abbott
As a school, we
will be organising a memorial event to honour our cherished Headteacher Mr John
Abbott in the coming months.
In the meantime,
we will have a book of condolence in our entrance hall, to which everyone is
welcome to contribute. This will be available until the end of November and we
will present it to his family at an opportune time.
In addition, a close
family friend has set up a JustGiving page, with donations to Phyllis
Tuckwell. If you would like to donate or
read some of the truly inspiring things John has done, please go to:
I will be in
touch with any further information, I am sure you appreciate anything we do in
John’s name will ensure Mrs Abbott’s wishes are respected.
With best wishes
Louisa Dormer
Headteacher
