Some of the exceptional projects produced by our very talented Year 4s!

Year 6 visit to St. John's

We received a telephone call this morning from Mrs Martin at the church to let us know what a polite, smart, very well behaved group of children the Year 6s were.  They asked intelligent questions and listened respectfully, discussing with her their knowledge if instruments.  What a wonderful phone-call to receive!  I am very proud of them all—what great role models and ambassadors for our school and its values.

Hot, hot, hot!

Please ensure your children come to school with sunscreen applied, a hat and plenty of water.

We will ensure there is plenty of shade and review lessons to ensure they are kept safe.

Sayers Croft update

Children really enjoyed the campfire this evening,  lots of tired but happy children!
Looking forward to den building and roman round house tomorrow.

Cricket news!

We had a lovely afternoon in the sun at Broadwater playing hardball cricket.

The team played incredibly well, with some excellent batting and bowling performances.

We won one and lost the other (though it was very close!).

Thank you to Mr Kirk for umpiring.

All the early risers were greeted with a cooked breakfast this morning . Morning activities completed , now sitting down for some  lunch. Beautiful weather! Let's hope it continues!

Day 2!

First night in the large rooms was exciting,  but most did get some sleep! First morning of adventure activities was great with rock climbing,  rope courses and balista building.  Just enjoyed another delicious lunch and are looking forward to activities in the sun this afternoon! All tired but still having a great time. :)

Well done to our team who played in their first hard ball cricket tournament on Friday.

An excellent experience for our children and they show great promise for the future.

Thank you to Mrs Strange for her support.

Swimming Star

Congratulations to Layla who has had a very busy sporting weekend!

On Saturday she swam in the Club Championship and achieved personal bests in both Freestyle and Backstroke.

Then on Sunday, she competed in the Guildford Aquathlon, in which she had to swim then run.  Layla completed all this in 11 minutes 57 seconds with just a 44 second transition.  Excellent work!
