Our entry was awarded a Silver Gilt prize!  We are so proud of this - a wonderful acknowledgement of the hard work and excellent Erasmus link.

Well done to Gardening Club and all the adult helpers - your hard work and creativity paid off!

Thank you to the girls, Mrs Freeman and Mrs Taylor for representing the school at the morning's event.

Recycled Art!

Last Friday we organised art activities across the school, and all children had the opportunity to try a different skill - all using recycled materials.

We welcomed three art specialists who ran specific sessions and we are very appreciative of their time and expertise!  Thank you also to all the staff and Mrs Friend Smith for organising the day.

A quote from a visiting governor, "Amazing! That is the word I would describe this afternoon.
I thought the involvement of all the children and the effort the teachers were putting in really paid off.
The impromptu show at the end of the day involving the whole school was the perfect way to celebrate. I came away understanding the full value your experienced staff bring to the school. The whole thing was just brilliant and the key messages were well understood by all."

Last week's stars!!

Stars!

We have just enjoyed a super Space assembly led by our Year 5s.  They showed us how much they had learned throughout the topic in an informative, fun and interactive way.  Lots of great songs, raps and even break dancing!

Thank you to the adults who spent the time rehearsing and putting together a brilliant performance.
