Bushy Hill Rockers!

We were treated to a fantastic assembly yesterday in which our Rock Steady students performed.  It was great to hear their talents and for them to show us how much progress they have made this year.  Particularly impressive were Red Rhinos who wrote their own lyrics!

Eco buddies

We are currently at the incredible WWF building in Woking on the Green Ambassador programme. Our children have learned lots about ways to help look after the planet.  They are working on a Book Creator page informing others of how the Living Centre helps the environment.

Sporting Success!

We had a fantastic morning at the Spectrum for this year's District Sports.  The children were brilliant and all tried so hard in their individual events - I had quite a stack of certificates to bring back to school!

We came 3rd overall - it was quite a close competition.

Thank you to all the parents who came to support us and to all the staff who organised the morning.

Hot, hot, hot!!!

The next three days are going to be sweltering!

Please remember lots of water, sun cream and hats.

District sports tomorrow, so very important to come prepared.

Cricket news

Just heard from Sunbury .... we won the first 2 matches so through to the next round after lunch!  Let's hope the rain holds off!

Year 2 performance

Our Year 3s have had a real treat this morning.  We visited the Merrow to watch their leavers play - what an amazing show!  Fantastic singing and a great script!  Lots of brilliant performers too.  Thank you for inviting us Merrow!

Teacher's Triumph!!

The much anticipated Teacher v Year 6 Netball matches took place earlier today.  great fun was had all round - some of us realised quite quickly how unfit we were!!

Transition take 1

We had a fantastic transition morning yesterday in which the children completed some lovely activities with their new teachers.

The Year 2s were really confident and fitted in so well, making lots of Bushy friends and learning more about our school.

Last evening we had an information meeting with our New Parents and this was well attended and very positively received.  We look forward to working with all our new families from September.

All is quiet ...

The children have a had a fantastic evening- fun in the sun, a yummy barbecue and great film. Lights out about half 9 and all settled and quiet now.
